A strange girl named Guri arrives at the house of Seiji Aino with a notebook (called the "Kiss Note", a reference to the popular anime "Death Note"), which has the power to sprout love between people. She claims that if Seiji does not kiss someone within 24 hours, he will remain a virgin forever, to which Seiji misunderstands and kisses her instead. The next day, Seiji's crush, Akane Hiyama, becomes jealous of Seiji and Guri's seemingly close relationship, and attempts to assassinate them both with Gurkha Knives. The two eventually make-up, with Guri revealing their status as a cupid from the sky, and pairing them along with Kiss-Note (much to Seiji's dislike), but not without being included in the harem. Later, the head of Guri, Korari (another angel of the sky) owns the body of the cat called "Blue" that Seiji and his family own, and he instructs Guri in the care of Seiji. At school, a mysterious little girl steals the kiss note, and is later revealed to be Yuzu Kichougasaki, Akane's little sister, who has magical telekinetic powers and also happens to be obsessed with Akane. Yuzu finally joins Seiji's harem by Guri as well.
